EXCITING NEWS: We're changing the name of our blog to The Family Freezer in September! We outgrew the name "New Leaf Wellness" a long time ago and we can't wait to have a name that matches our current mission. Since our family is in the midst of transitioning back to school, I came up with a meal plan for the coming month with our favorite recipes from last year. What’s so great about these recipes? - They’re healthy. (Most include veggies that are in season right now, like apples, squash, swiss chard, or sweet potatoes.) - They can be frozen without any cooking ahead of time. That means they’re very quick and easy to prep and cook for the first time in the crockpot. (No “leftover” taste.) - They’re delicious! (I tried all of them myself.) This meal plan includes 12 healthy crockpot freezer recipes that are approved by my family of seven: - Spaghetti Squash with Meatballs from [All Day I Dream About Food]( - [Zuppa Toscana with Sweet Potatoes]( - [Cool Ranch Shredded Chicken Tacos]( (our favorite) - Pork with Cabbage and Apples - Meatball Vegetable Soup - [Chicken Fajitas]( (stovetop or crockpot) - [Honey Garlic Chicken and Veggies]( (I can’t wait to make this one) - Sausage Vegetable Soup (based on [our favorite crockpot soup recipe]( - [Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps]( - Tuscan Pork with Fennel from [Delish]( - [Chicken Chili]( - [Korean Shredded Beef Lettuce Wraps]( Bonus Recipe: Stovetop [Gnocchi and Swiss Chard]( [CLICK HERE]( to view all of the free printable recipes, shopping list, and meal planning calendar. No strings attached. Let me know if you have any questions. I hope you have a great weekend. Kelly P.S. Click "display images below" if you can't see the calendar in your email. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
