Focus on All Things New England! [New England Focus] Maine Wild Blueberry Sauce for Desserts and Drinks Recipe by Kate Bowler of [@domestikateblog]( Sponsored by: [Visit Maine]( [Blueberry drinks made with Maine Blueberry Sauce] Photo Credit : Kate Bowler of @domestikateblog One of my favorite summer flavors is a sweet, crisp, fresh Maine wild blueberry! I’m partnering with Visit Maine and Yankee Magazine to bring some of Maine’s best seasonal ingredients to life over the next few months (check out the Sept-Oct issue for another tasty recipe). We can’t talk about Maine without highlighting their wild blueberries, and this simple and versatile wild blueberry syrup recipe puts them right in focus! It can be used in a cocktail, drizzled over a variety of desserts, I’ve even had it with a bite of sharp Maine cheddar on a cheese plate! If you are coming to Maine in August then you need to check out one of the Wild Blueberry Festivals happening around the state.
