Hey {NAME}, I just bumped into a recent study by the American Psychological Association on how personality traits relate to life satisfaction. I thought it was really interesting so I wanted to share this graph from them.   According to the study, these are the top 10 traits that go with LOW life satisfaction: 10. Often bored 9. Avoid responsibilities 8. Often need help 7. Hate to hear about the successes of others 6. Postpone decisions 5. Afraid of many things 4. Often feel tired 3. Afraid of being left alone 2. Find that nothing excites me 1. Often feel that others misunderstand me But here are the top 10 traits that go with HIGH life satisfaction: 10. Enjoy cooperating with others 9. Considered to be a wise person 8. Trust others 7. Not embarrassed easily 6. Good at many things 5. Remain calm under pressure 4. Rarely complain 3. Able to control my cravings 2. Usually active and full of energy 1. Have a lot of fun For me, the conclusion is that it’s not about what happens to you, but rather how you react. And the funny thing is… this also applies to trading, along with many other of their points. Something interesting to think about. I encourage you to go through the lists as I did and think about which traits you should embrace more and which you should actively avoid.  We never stop getting better! Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
