Text BIDEN to 48744 to see how he’s made a difference in your state. [View as Webpage]( [National Education Association]( [NEA EdVotes]( {NAME}, President Biden has proven time and again that he is the most pro-public education and pro-union president in modern history. Along with Vice President Harris, he’s been a tireless advocate for public education and has partnered with parents and educators to strengthen public schools and expand learning opportunities for all students—Black, white, Latino, Asian, Native, newcomer, LGBTQ+, or differently-abled, from rural, suburban, and urban communities alike. President Biden and Vice President Harris recently announced their re-election campaign, and I’m so honored to be writing you today to share that NEA is proud to support their bid for the Democratic nomination. Text BIDEN to 48744 to see how President Biden’s policies have made a difference in your state. President Biden and Vice President Harris have delivered the largest investment in public education in U.S. history, helping ensure school districts across the nation can raise educators’ salaries, address educator shortages, fix crumbling school buildings, and support HBCUs. President Biden signed into law the most important bipartisan gun-safety legislation in 30 years, in the face of fierce opposition from the NRA and other special interests. And he’s worked to provide robust student debt relief for millions of Americans. They’ve built an administration that reflects the diversity of our nation, replaced Betsy DeVos with an educator who understands what it takes to be in a public-school classroom, and appointed Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson as the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court. Now all our children can see themselves in the people who hold our nation’s highest positions of power and know their dreams are within reach. Text BIDEN to 48744 to see how he’s made a difference in your state. Unfortunately, there are other power-hungry politicians who want to take our nation backward. They’re attacking educators, taking away opportunities for students to learn, and using our most vulnerable children as political pawns to distract us from their effort to privatize our public schools. We cannot allow these extremist politicians to divide and distract us from what our students need to reach their full potential. Students, parents, and educators deserve better. We’ve made so much progress but there’s much more to do. So, lets unite to help President Biden and Vice President Harris finish the job. Thank you for all that you do to support our students and communities. We couldn't do this work without you.
