We’ll help you host an event on June 8 [View as Webpage]( [National Education Association]( [EdJustice]( {NAME}, No matter our color, background, or ZIP code, we want our students to have an education that imparts honesty about who we are, integrity in how we treat others, and courage to do what’s right. When educators feel supported to teach the truth, all of our kids feel respected and reflected—no exceptions. [On June 8, we are coming together for a Teach Truth Day of Action.]( Across the country, certain politicians are trying to censor the lessons taught in our classrooms, ban books, and exclude students based on what they look like or where they live. They’re trying to distract us from their failures to fully fund our schools so that all students have what they need to learn, grow, and thrive. By joining together on June 8 to protect the freedom to learn and teach truth, educators, students, parents, and community members are rejecting these attempts at division. Almost 100 actions have already been planned. [Find an event near you or host your own.]( Hosting a Teach Truth Day of Action event is easy: - Select a public site.
