What do you think, {NAME}? → One thing you would tell leaders to do to fix challenges you face in your public school [National Education Association](   [Education Votes]( Hi {NAME}, It’s an election year and I’m reaching out with urgency to our members and public education supporters like you. [Will you take a moment to share your thoughts about the 2024 election?](   Question:What is one thing you would tell leaders to do to fix challenges you face in your public school? [Your Answer ➤](   Your response will guide our strategies for this election. We've seen great progress the past few years with efforts to improve pay and end educator shortages, keep our schools and communities safe from gun violence, and expand free school meals at both the state and national levels. But we know that it is just a start. Students and educators face real challenges. The next election will determine if we continue to improve working and learning conditions, or if we see an explosion of efforts like book bans and vouchers that limit students’ ability to learn and educators’ ability to teach. We need to make our voices heard so that candidates for office know we mean business and know we demand change. [Tell us what you think our elected officials need to do for public schools.]( Your input directly affects our ability to make a difference for students, educators, and public schools. Please share your thoughts.
