Take a look at the stories inside. [View in browser](| [Join Nautilus]( Did a friend forward this? [Subscribe here.]( INSIDE ISSUE 56 Fresh perspectives on an eclectic mix of big ideas. Dear Nautilus reader, Issue 56 of Nautilus has arrived and we’d like to give you a glimpse of the stories inside, but first, here’s an abbreviated note from Nautilus editor Kevin Berger about our latest issue. At Nautilus, we are journalists of ideas. That’s how I’ve described our mission since we launched in 2013. We investigate the fields of science and philosophy and return with stories that capture ideas that strike you like news and stay with you like literature. Ideas in this issue offer fresh perspectives on basketball, crying wolf, mud, comedy, and donkeys. I know that doesn’t sound like a normal science magazine. “Only in Nautilus,” though, is our favorite compliment of all.
