But before I ask for your support, I’d like to share why I’m running and why this election is so important. Three years ago, three MAGA extremists got elected to the school board here on Long Island. These extremists were attacking our kids, our public schools, and our democracy. I couldn’t sit by and let that happen, so I joined together with several other moms to create a nonprofit to advocate for our public schools, protect our kids, and get good people elected to school boards. With this little nonprofit, we took on MAGA extremists and won. We have won in school districts across Long Island, beating over two dozen extremists who were attacking public education and trying to use our kids as political props. Now, we’re taking this fight to Congress. We can beat the MAGA enabler representing this district, flip this seat and take back control of the House from the MAGA extremists. I’m ready to bring a fresh perspective to Congress – one that focuses on solving problems and serving real people. This primary is about the future of our district, and it’s a real chance to elect a leader that Long Islanders can truly count on.
