NAF helped me see myself as a leader; you can do that for other students.   [Tammy with her daughters]( Friend, I’m Tammy, and I’m a NAF alumna — Academy of Finance class of 1996 — and the parent of two NAF students. NAF has made a difference in my own life and continues to make a difference in the lives of my daughters. I'm proud of NAF's growth over the years and know first hand that NAF is also making a difference in the lives of the students in 361 schools around the country today. GivingTuesday is tomorrow, and we haven’t yet met our goal of 361 gifts (one for each of the schools with a NAF academy). One of the most important lessons I learned through my NAF academy is that you don’t get what you don’t ask for, so I’m asking: [Will you donate to NAF today?]( [Your GivingTuesday gift will do more for students than ever before — a generous group of donors has offered to MATCH every gift to help more students see themselves as leaders.]( NAF helped me see myself as a leader, and it has helped my daughters become leaders, and I want that for every student. [Donate Now and we'll double it!]( From start to finish, my NAF experience was special. My first memory at NAF is of Mr. Press calling my name during orientation and adding that I was the first person accepted that year. From that first day … to graduation … to today, I’ve felt seen and valued, like I could be a leader. I’m lucky to have had teachers like Mr. Press, but I know I am not unique — my daughters’ NAF teachers also took the time to see them and help them chart a path to the futures they want to make for themselves.   GivingTuesday is tomorrow, and with it, your last chance to become one of 361 donors who will have their donation to NAF doubled. [But you don’t have to wait — a generous group of donors will match your gift TODAY to help more students see themselves as leaders and help them gain the skills that will serve them for a lifetime.]( My journey from NAF Alumna to NAF parent has only solidified my belief that being part of its “School within a School” model holds benefits beyond the curriculum. The sense of belonging, customer service, professionalism and life skills have remained at the core of the program; no matter what path its graduates choose to follow. As a parent, I am so glad my daughters have access to similar experiences that I did. It’s been so rewarding to watch them gain confidence in their skills. … and I want to be part of ensuring other students have that same access to opportunity. [Make your GivingTuesday gift today. Help us reach our goal while your gift will be doubled and have twice the impact on students. It could change the course of a life.]( NAF was incredible for me and my daughters, and I hope that even more students will have access to this life-changing experience. You can make that possible with your support today.
