About the Designers. [W Type Foundry Image]( Diego Aravena: Diego Aravena is a Chilean font developer and engineer currently residing in London. Over the past several years, he has participated in various typeface programs and has taught courses in graphic and typeface design in Chile. Currently, he combines his typography knowledge with programming, exploring new approaches to his work. He is also the founder of W Type Foundry. Patricio Gonzalez: Patricio González Salamanca is a typeface designer and holds a master's degree in art research. Co-founder of W Type Foundry. His work as a typographer focuses on the creation of conventional typefaces, as well as the exploration of written language as a cultural phenomenon. He has taught at various universities in Chile and has expanded his teaching through exploration and collaboration with W’s Collabtype project. His research method is based on design practices and type design, adopting a generalist and multidisciplinary approach. Magdalena Arasanz: Magdalena Arasanz is an advertiser turned font designer living in Barcelona. Manager and Co-Founder of W Type Foundry. Her work focuses mainly on organizing the team, numbers, licensing, and the ongoing Collabtype project, as well as her artistic research with different mediums at her Barcelona workspace. "What I love most about WTF is that it's an open, free, and secure space, every team member is unique, but we share common ideas and ambitions." David Súid: David Súid, digital typeface designer since 2018, he’s currently focusing his work on applying the expertise gained in recent years to innovative projects that emphasize typography within more complex, complete and comprehensive systems. Gaspar Muñoz: Gaspar Muñoz is a font designer and graffiti artist, his main inspirations comes from everyday uses of typefaces in the real world – in stores, signs, and other displays.
