[Shop All – Flash Sale]( [Harmonique™]( Harmonique™ by Monotype Harmonique is an incised serif typeface designed for both text and display purposes. It’s a type family of two styles that work in harmony together to add distinction and personality to your own typographic compositions. Harmonique’s low contrast forms have the appeal of a humanist sans serif typeface. Its subtly flared terminals evoke the craft and skill of a signwriter’s steady hand, creating an authentic and pleasing aesthetic. Harmonique Display is more calligraphic in its structure – as if drawn by a wide-nibbed pen. This style is accentuated by aggressively barbed serifs and chiselled arcs in its counters and bowls. These strong characteristics help to define a flamboyant, confident style that will provide impact and flair to your headlines, titles, and identity designs. Practical features include 48 ligatures that will enhance titling possibilities with their all-capital pairings – these are accessed by turning on Discretionary Ligatures and then selecting either Stylistic Set 1 or 2. There are also a number of alternate caps that will subtly enhance your titles and headlines – access these via Stylistic Sets 3 and 4. Small Caps are included too (along with their matching diacritics) – adding another layer of versatility to this typeface. Proportional Lining figures are available as an option if you prefer them to the default Old Style figures. There are 32 fonts altogether, with 8 weights in roman and italic from Light to Ultra in both text (low contrast) and display (high contrast) styles. Harmonique has an extensive character set (650+ glyphs) that covers every Latin European language. 32 fonts for $240 $120 [Shop Harmonique]( [Obsidian®]( Obsidian® by Hoefler & Co. A majestic typeface uses digital means to achieve traditional ends. The Obsidian typeface was designed by Andy Clymer with Jonathan Hoefler in 2015. Like the Surveyor typeface upon which it is based, Obsidian was inspired by mapmaking, celebrating the fanciful engraved legends that once adorned maps produced through copperplate engraving. Obsidian spans two genres, combining the handmade qualities of English Vernacular lettering with the robust proportions of "fat face" poster types, two innovations in large-size lettering from the early years of the Industrial Revolution. Obsidian was recognized by an Innovation by Design award in 2015. 6 fonts for $99 $49.50 [Shop Obsidian]( [Optima®]( Optima® by Linotype Optima was designed by Hermann Zapf and is his most successful typeface. In 1950, Zapf made his first sketches while visiting the Santa Croce church in Florence. He sketched letters from grave plates that had been cut about 1530, and as he had no other paper with him at the time, the sketches were done on two 1000 lire bank notes. These letters from the floor of the church inspired Optima, a typeface that is classically roman in proportion and character, but without serifs. The letterforms were designed in the proportions of the Golden Ratio. Optima is an all-purpose typeface; it works for just about anything from book text to signage. It is available in 12 weights and 4 companion fonts with Central European characters and accents. 12 fonts for $219.99 $110 [Shop Optima]( Our Flash Sale ends today March 8th at 11:59 p.m. EST., Shop [ALL font deals]( now Monotype Imaging Inc. 600 Unicorn Park Drive Woburn, MA 01801 USA London, UK | Berlin, DE | Noida, IN | Seoul, KR | Tokyo, JP | Shanghai, CN The promotions featured in this email newsletter are only valid for purchases made online at MyFonts.com. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
