When you're using Shlop Shloppy in an OpenType savvy application, common letter pairs will be automatically replaced by custom pairs for a more realistic, shloppy effect. 1 font for FREE [Horror and gore, Shop Shlop™]( [Gill Sans® Nova]( Gill Sans® Nova by Monotype The Gill Sans® Nova typeface, by Monotype Studio designer George Ryan, expands the much-loved Gill Sans family from 18 to 43 fonts and features a coordinated range of roman and condensed designs. Several new display fonts are available, including a suite of six inline weights, shadowed outline fonts that were never digitized and Gill Sans Nova Deco that was previously withdrawn from the Monotype library. A variety of OpenType® features are supported that make it possible to include experimental characters from different points in Gill Sans’s long history, including pointed diagonals on ‘A’, ‘V’ and ‘W’ and alternatives for ‘b’, ‘d’, ‘p’ and ‘q.’ Proportional figures are also available as an alternative to the tabular designs. The Gill Sans Nova family has a large character set that supports Latin, Greek and Cyrillic languages. The display weights support Latin only. “Gill Sans was fast to strike a chord with people after its initial 1928 release and quickly became popular,” explains Ryan. “It’s been adapted for every publishing technology, from mechanical typesetting to digital imaging – always receiving the best treatment from Monotype in each iteration. This is especially true with all that we’ve added to the new series, while still retaining the familiarity of Gill Sans. My goal was to ensure clarity across digital environments, add missing weights, and bring more personality to the family with new display fonts, as well as Gill-inspired alternate characters.” The Gill Sans Nova typeface family is part of the new Eric Gill Series, drawing on Monotype's heritage to remaster and expand and revitalize Eric Gill’s body of work, with more weights, more characters and more languages to meet a wide range of design requirements. The Series also brings to life new elements inspired by some of Gill’s unreleased work, recently discovered in Monotype’s archive of original typeface drawings, designer correspondence and documents from the last century. 43 fonts for $399 $199.50 [They're all watching, Shop Gill Sans® Nova]( [Molly Sans]( Molly Sans by Mans Greback Molly Sans is a sans-serif family, drawn and created by Måns Grebäck between 2016 and 2019. With an appearance similar to traditional sign painting, this all-caps typeface works great in classic, genuine and crafty designs. Stable and perfect for stacked type settings, Molly Sans is used for headers and titles meant to grab the attention of the observer. The font family includes 25 styles, from Extra-Condensed Thin to Extra-Expanded Black. The many style options allows for very high flexibility and real customization. XC = Extra-Condensed C = Condensed N = Normal E = Expanded XE = Extra-Expanded Each style goes well with the other styles, or contrasts nicely with any script typeface. Molly Sans contains a wide range of international glyphs and characters, and supports all European, Latin-based languages. 25 fonts for $59 $29.50 [Horrifyingly perfect, Shop Molly Sans]( [Neue Aachen™]( Neue Aachen™ by ITC Impressed by the quality of the Aachen typeface that was originally designed for Letraset in 1969 and extended to include Aachen Medium in 1977, Jim Wasco of Monotype Imaging has extended this robust display design to create an entire family. Derived from the serif-accented Egyptienne fonts dating to the early 20th century, Aachen has serifs that are very solid but considerably shorter than those of its precursor. The incorporated geometrical elements, such as right angles and straight lines, provide the slender letters of Aachen with a slightly technological, stencil-like quality. Despite this, the effect of Aachen is by no means static; its dynamism means that this typeface, originally designed for use in headlines, has come to be used with particular frequency in sport- and fitness-related contexts. 18 fonts for $526 $263 [Lights, Camera, Shop Neue Aachen™]( [PL Latin]( PL Latin by Monotype The PL Latin font family is intended for headline use. PL Latin Elongated was designed by David Quay and released in 1988. It can be used as a headline in narrow columns. PL Latin Bold has a much wider set than the Elongated weight so it can be used to add impact. 2 fonts for $49 $24.50 [Light up the sky, Shop PL Latin]( [Running With Scissors]( Running With Scissors by Comicraft Your Mama told you not to do it, so you just KNOW this font will be good for you! In fact, you might say it's a Cut Above the Rest - OUCH! 2 fonts for $29 $14.50 [Cut along the line, Shop Running With Scissors]( [Sabotage]( Sabotage by PintassilgoPrints Sabotage is inspired by the iconic Vertigo movie poster by Saul Bass. It is a bold all-caps font that fits a wide range of eye-catching design projects surprisingly well. Check it out! Sabotage offers two versions for each letter, stored in upper- and lower-case slots. When turned on, its contextual alternates feature will instantly alternate these glyphs, preventing double letters from displaying the same letterform while boosting the nice handlettered feel of the typeface. The font is also loaded with a set of stylistic alternates and a couple of discretionary ligatures for even more flexibility. Sabotage is available in 2 flavours, solid and not-that-solid. The family also counts a cool complementary picture font which sort of draws inspiration from the minimalistic - but always striking - book-cover illustrations of Dick Bruna. 3 fonts for $46 $23 [Spin you around, Shop Sabotage]( [Sabon® Next]( Sabon® Next by Linotype The design of Sabon® Next by Jean François Porchez, a revival of a revival, was a double challenge: to try to discern Jan Tschichold´s own schema for the original Sabon, and to interpret the complexity of a design originally made in two versions for different typecasting systems. The first was designed for use on Linotype and Monotype machines, and the second for Stempel hand composition. Because the Stempel version does not have the constraints necessary for types intended for machine composition, it seems closer to a pure interpretation of its Garamond ancestor. Naturally Porchez based Sabon Next on this second version and also referred to original Garamond models, carefully improving the proportions of the existing digital Sabon while matching its alignments. The new family is large and versatile - with Roman and italic in 6 weights from regular to black. Most weights also have small caps, Old style Figures, alternates (swashes, ligatures, etc); and there is one ornament font with many lovely fleurons. The standard versions include revised lining figures that are intentionally designed to be a little smaller than capitals. 12 fonts for $499 $249.50 [Green with envy, Shop Sabon® Next]( [Scratch That]( Scratch That by Matthias Luh Scratch That is a decorative font available in 16 different styles. All subfamilies are consistent in width, position and spacing, so multiple fonts can be layered to create even more variety - have a look at our Family Pack offers! We designed “Scratch That” with layered design in mind and for both good legibility at smaller sizes and perfect look at large dimensions. This allows widespread use: for fashion, headlines, flyers, food, packaging, posters, souvenirs, web design, invitations and many more... 24 fonts for $65 $32.50 [Shine above, Shop Scratch That]( [Neuland®]( Neuland® by Linotype Neuland is based on the handwriting of Rudolf Koch (as are all of his typefaces). Its simplicity and unusual shapes derive from the difficult and demanding art of punchcutting. In fact, it may be the only typeface designed by actually cutting the punches, Koch made no preliminary drawings. Designed and released by the Klingspor foundry in 1923, Neuland became enormously popular as an advertising typeface. It is a sans serif, all-capital design with angular features, obliqued strokes and a slight concavity to some of the vertical strokes. Used with restraint, it can lend power and persuasion to display work, as it did when forming the basis for titles appearing in the film Jurassic Park. 1 font for $29 $14.50 [Enter at your own risk, Shop Neuland®]( [Nightmare Street]( Nightmare Street by Wing's Art Studio' Take a midnight stroll if you dare through the shadowy terrace of terror, in Nightmare Street! A bloodcurdling design supplied in two styles with additional underlines and paint spills, Nightmare Street is an 80s inspired horror font straight from the video store. It’s the perfect choice when you want a hand-made look for your movie posters and trailers, album covers, books and Halloween promos. This font includes complete uppercase and lowercase characters plus punctuation, numerals and language support. It also comes with a full set of alternatives ensuring that you’ll never have to repeat your e’s or t’s for a more convincing and authentic hand-drawn look. Check out the visuals for more details and usage examples. 3 fonts for $20 $14 [Stroll through the horror, Shop Nightmare Street]( [Square Slabserif 711™]( Square Slabserif 711™ by Bitstream A contemporary revival of early 20th century fonts, the Square Slabserif 711™ typeface family from the Bitstream library is perfect for contemporary print and interactive design projects. Its geometric structure of right angles and opposing round corners are ideally suited to current imaging devices. An added benefit is that they also give the design an enduring industrial strength demeanor. 6 fonts for $199 $99.50 [Escape now, Shop Square Slabserif 711™]( Type Through the Eras sale ends July 20th at 11:59 p.m. EDT - Shop [all deals]( now!
