The foundry is revealing the stand-alone type family Code Next—a staggering evolution from Code Pro in functionality, versatility, and application. The transformation includes 6 new weights, 10 new Italics, full support of Extended Cyrillic and Greek, full redesign and glyphs refinement, 2 variable fonts, to name but a few. Going back to 2011, the grotesque-inspired Code Pro was designed and directed by Svet Simov to complement memorable pieces that make a statement. Today, a type family of 22 styles, the newly evolved Code Next solidifies its relevance and carries a strong constructive aesthetic through simplified forms with a twist. These fit any modern design in print, web, and display visualization. Developed to go above and beyond, Code Next comes prepared to complete multi-lingual bold projects for designers and brands that operate on an international level. "Little did we know, it would expand and live up to the potential of a “font from the future” as the new Code Next." — Fontfabric 22 fonts for $237.00 $94.80 [Shop Code Next Now]( [About the Designer.]( Designer: Svet Simov About the Designer. Svet Simov, Code Next’s Creator & Type Director The CEO and founder of Fontfabric, Svet is the force that brought a tight-knit group of multidisciplinary designers together. Among the team, he’s the one to spot precise details from a mile away. There’s a reason his name sounds familiar! Svet is the author of some of the most recognizable geometric sans serifs nowadays – Mont, Nexa, and Intro. Adding Code Next to the list is only a matter of time. Starting off with no formal education in typography, Svet climbed the charts and became a regular guest in MyFonts’s Rising Stars newsletters in less than 4 years. Combining unparalleled consistency in creating fonts and a trailblazing approach to presenting them, Svet recalls the “wow” effect every release had on the design community. 12 years later, he’s still captivated by the simple geometric forms and unconventional sans serifs he’s grown up with. In between directing and conceptualizing new fonts, Svet takes the time to revisit earlier versions of Fontfabric’s prominent typefaces—Code Next being the latest—turning them into full-fledged professional products. Fontfabric thrives as a world-leading digital type foundry dedicated to crafting premium retail typefaces for more than 12 years now. Drawing inspiration from the local millennial Cyrillic heritage and the digital typographic practices alike, the foundry’s award-winning team is known for its future-proof fonts loved and used by millions. Fontfabric’s authenticity and problem-solving mindset have earned them a spot among a global network of type professionals, independent creatives, and internationally renowned brands like Nike, Lipton, CBS, BBC, Kraft Foods, and Viasat, to name but a few. 22 fonts for $237.00 $94.80 [Shop Code Next Now]( [Inter]( [Shop Inter]( now, 18 fonts for $139.00 $55.60 Introducing Inter by Latinotype Imagine a sans Rockwell…Well, we did it. That’s how Inter was born—as a reinterpretation of Rockwell. However, as the process moved forward the font took on its own personality, adapted to current market and needs. Inter is a new geometric sans with an early 20th century smell, soft curves and generous counterforms that give it a fresh look—a friendly font that communicates sincerity. It’s always an interesting situation when you have a defined final product in mind, yet you also want to go beyond the brief. We wanted more than just a simple Rockwell without serifs. So a major part of the process was to create something distinct from Rockwell and all other fonts on the market. By far the biggest challenge of this project was discovering a unique voice and personality. This took a lot of trial and error, but I’m quite happy with the result. Inter is well-suited for web use, apps, corporate use and short text (publishing). The font contains 439 glyphs—Latinotype’s basic character set plus alternative letters and signs—and supports over 200 languages that use the Latin alphabet. "We started imagining a Rockwell sans typeface, and a geometric grotesque with a lot of latin flavor was made, a modern but warm touch is necessary in branding, text or titles." — Latinotype 18 fonts for $139.00 $55.60 [Shop Inter Here]( [Designers.]( Designers: Alfonso García and the Latinotype Team About the Designers. Alfonso García has horrible handwriting so when he found typography, it was a love at first sight, "Now someone will be able to read my letters." Since then he moved from San Juan to Buenos Aires, México and Chile, in the quest for learning how type design is done and working as a graphic designer. He works now at Latinotype and has been there since 2015, as type designer, being responsible for several projects. Often he still uses his handwriting in poems or notes that no one, but his partner Julieta, is able to understand. Latinotype is based in Concepción and Santiago, Chile, Latinotype’s founders say, “Our goal is to design new typefaces remixing diverse influences related to our South American identity with high quality products for the contemporary design industry.” And the duo have been doing just that since their foundry’s creation in 2007. One of the most successful foundries on MyFonts in recent years, Luciano Vergara and Daniel Hernández, have put together a rapidly growing collection of typefaces in a wide array of genres. Specializing in colorful display and script faces, the group’s name “Latinotype” emphasizes the strong tie they feel to their cultural identity. 18 fonts for $139.00 $55.60 [Shop Inter Here]( [Goodland]( Goodland by Swell Type Built tall and strong, the Goodland font family is ready to do the heavy lifting in your next design project!
