DAY 2: More amazing offers - DEALS on these bestselling script typefaces! [Arsilon]( Arsilon | Let's hear from the designer: Arsilon brings a smile to my face, just like my little one, Muhammad Ghufran. The happiness and joy led me on an extraordinary journey driving the choice to use a special brush pen to produce a style and cool texture, which has drummed up a lot of interest among graphic designers, especially on the MyFonts® site. I bucketed Arsilon as a modern calligraphy font because I used a brush pen with a single scratch or a quick stroke with a focus on bringing out the natural textures. Because of its modern style, Arsilon is suitable for use in contemporary designs, big projects, apparel, invitations, title books, stationery designs, quotes, branding, logos, greeting cards, t-shirts, packaging designs, posters and more. 2 Fonts | $25 $12.50 [Shop Arsilon now]( [Fabiola]( Fabiola | Let's hear from the designer: Fabiola was inspired by baseball scripts. The innovation here is that I wanted its big loops and swashes to be combined (and pair well) with words of another font set in all caps. I had a lot of fun and it was very challenging. The loops had to be done very precisely, so it felt as if they were embracing the all caps font (see Fabiola Caps). Fabiola has a retro feel combined with a calligraphic feel. The font is very versatile and its style is trendy nowadays. Its quantity of alternates will have you entertained and playing until you find your favorite swashy option. Fabiola may not need Fabiola Caps to work well; however, when you combine them the results are outstanding! 4 Fonts | $79 $39.50 [Shop Fabiola now]( [Marujo™]( Marujo™ | Let's hear from the designer: Marujo™ is a very special font for us, inspired by the work of a Brazilian artist that we admired for a long time - Arthur Bispo do Rosário, who lived in a psychiatric institution in Rio de Janeiro for the most part of his life until his death. It’s a potent and vast work, despite absolutely unsound conditions, and words are everywhere, painted or embroidered at most. Marujo™ is one of our biggest families so far, with 5 different styles plus 2 complementary shadows and a picture font. It looks simple, yet looks so good, so bright. For us, Marujo™ feels like a friendship with Bispo do Rosário, as if the font reflects a bit of us and a bit of him. In our portion, we added huge amounts of joy. We like to think this is noticeable. 8 Fonts | $45 $18 [Shop Marujo™ now]( [Thirsty Soft]( Thirsty Soft | Let's hear from the designer: While Thirsty Script has Main Street energy, sometimes you want to get out of the city and enjoy the summer rays. Thirsty Soft takes you there. It’s a lemonade mimosa by the riverside. I found that by rounding its corners, Thirsty Soft projected a warm, laid back vibe and an extra level of vintage appeal, making it a worthy addition to my Thirsty suite of typefaces. Thirsty Soft is available in six weights ranging from Light to Black. With its smooth demeanor and nostalgic charm, Thirsty Soft has been used for anything from clothing labels and restaurant menus to health supplement packaging and lottery tickets. 6 Fonts | $49 $17.15 [Shop Thirsty Soft now]( [Appetite Pro]( Appetite Pro | Let's hear from the designer: It all started with a self-logo. A font was made as an experiment rather than something serious. After the beta release in 2011, it was clear that something more had developed. From the first days of sale, Appetite attracted attention around the world. In 2016, the Pro version was made, and the approach to it was already more meaningful because there was a specific goal. I've completely updated all the glyphs and made a stylistic correction. Appetite Pro has absorbed a lot of styles, so it's hard for me to name any one. It combines the extremes of what other fonts didn't. I think that's what made it popular. The best use case for Appetite Pro font is the most replicable. You can find many examples on the supermarket’s shelves. Appetite has become so natural for retail that it is part of our culture, giving rise to many imitators. 10 Fonts | $300 $150 [Shop Appetite Pro now]( [Slight]( Slight | Let's hear from the designer: Slight is an elegant, hand-drawn script font with a heavy right slant. It was created with the goal of giving designers a calligraphy font with enough variants and alternates to have a realistically hand-written feel. Slight comes with more than 1,000 glyphs and tons of OpenType features (including contextual alternates, stylistic alternates, initial and final forms, multiple alternate glyphs for many letters, multilingual support, ligatures, and six ampersand styles). Perhaps the most fun thing about Slight is that it includes multiple versions of all ascending and descending letters, making it lots of fun to play with layouts and compositions. Slight is particularly well-suited for invitations, branding, and editorial design. 1 Font | $26 $13 [Shop Slight now]( [Mr Sheffield Pro]( Mr Sheffield Pro | Let's hear from the designer: The Charles Bluemlein Script Collection is an intriguing reminder of the heady days of hand lettering and calligraphy in the United States. From the early 1930s through World War II, there were about 200 professional hand letterers working in New York City alone. This occupation saw its demise with the advent of photo lettering, and after digital typography it became virtually extinct. The odd way in which the Bluemlein scripts were assembled and created - by collecting different signatures and then building complete alphabets from them - is a fascinating calligraphic adventure. Because the set of constructed designs looked nothing like the original signatures, fictitious names were assigned to the new script typefaces. The typeface styles were then showcased in Higgins Ink catalogs. Alejandro Paul and Sudtipos bring the Bluemlein scripts back to life in a set of expanded digital versions, reflecting the demands of today’s designer. Extreme care has been taken to render the original scripts authentically, keeping the fictitious names originally assigned to them by Bluemlein. Mr Sheffield Pro is a fresh and expressive but elegant handwriting, while being causal at the same time. It is best used to create wines labels, quotes and cosmetics. 1 Font | $45 $22.50 [Shop Mr Sheffield Pro now]( [Active]( Active | Let's hear from the designer: I wanted Active to feel like a quick, expressive stroke of the brush. Something casual, but not necessarily too friendly. I grew up doing “extreme" sports (BMX) and this font evokes some of that raw feeling. Active leans most towards “casual” because of how loose it is, but it still has some of the connecting stroke aspects typical of a traditional script. Its core design is also upright, so it has a little more confidence and distinction. It works great to express a message with a hand-drawn look. The slightly condensed proportions help it stand a little taller and the included dingbat glyphs provide more typographic interest. I think the best use is for applications that need a loud, bold, yet casual tone. Setting it in short headlines for posters and advertisements is ideal. 6 Fonts | $29 $11.60 [Shop Active now]( [Lovelace]( Lovelace | Let's hear from the designer: The Lovelace family was born when Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Andrea Tartarelli fell in love with the tradition of nineteenth century “old style” typography. Often called “Victorian”, these typefaces ended up influencing the work of masters like Benguiat and Goudy in the 60's and 70's. To better capture their balanced mix of formal elegance and exquisite penmanship, we asked the talented lettering artist and calligrapher Maria Chiara Fantini to join the team. She added luscious swashes, calligraphic alternates and connected cursive letters to the base typeface, leading to the creation of Lovelace Script. Lovelace is named after Ada Lovelace (a Victorian lady), the first woman to work in computer science. We loved her feminine but empowering character, and as a designer we wanted to express that sort of fierce elegance. With Lovelace Script, we strived to keep the passion and lightness of heartfelt calligraphy, while at the same rooting it in balanced, readable type design. Lovelace Script is designed to excel in formal contexts (from fashion branding to editorial content), but its extreme formal elegance can be wonderful if paired with ironic content, or if used to contrast with digital, contemporary subjects. 30 Fonts | $189 $75.60 [Shop Lovelace now]( [Buttergone Brush]( Buttergone Brush | Let's hear from the designer: Buttergone is a new modern brush font with an irregular baseline. This font was an outcome of my acceptance into MyFonts®. Excited & happy, I hand wrote a letter informing my mother of this milestone. This letter to my mother turned into Buttergone Brush. This font is a natural calligraphic font because the baseline is irregular. I made this font with great care so that buyers can easily use it. This font is very unique in the sense that it has two types of upper- and lower-case letters, so designers are free to choose the model of each letter. Buttergone is the latest handwritten font suitable for use by designers for various title designs, such as invitations, book titles, stationery designs, clothing, quotes, branding, logos, greeting cards, T-shirts, packaging designs, posters, and many others. 1 Font | $14 $7 [Shop Buttergone Brush now]( View [ALL script font deals]( and shop these amazing scripts today! | | | | The Monotype Brand Family MyFonts Inc. 600 Unicorn Park Drive Woburn, MA 01801 United States of America The promotions featured in this email newsletter are only valid for purchases made online at [MyFonts.com](.
