In 2017, [Mutabazi began serving as a foster parent]( in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has fostered more than a dozen children to date. At the onset of 2020, Mutabazi officially adopted his first child, Anthony, and has dedicated the majority of the global pandemic to housing and rehabilitating four more children. "With foster care, they are overloaded with kids and I could not imagine a kid wanting a safe place to be loved in the midst of this. I could not say no," Mutabazi said.
