Not that the bottles were shabby before but these new ones are vanity worthy for sure. It’s been a few years since the Saint and Sinner line first popped up at Kat Von D so, it’s nice to see their return. The scents we meant to be used individually or combined to create a unique fragrance experience. Each one represents the lighter and darker side of Kat’s personality. Saint being the lighter of the two fragrances with notes of vanilla, musk, jasmine, and plum as well as tiare flower, mandarin, and caramel for a gourmand twist. Naked Heat brings together 12 all new shades, yup 12 of all new ones in a heated selection of warm browns, burnt oranges and siennas. They are speaking my language! This formula promises to provide 16 hours of continuous wear with a matte finish. I’m honestly not a fan of long-wearing lip products and Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink’s formula is one of the reason I dislike them so much. This stuff is the devil’s work! Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink comes your way in an array of bold shades that are housed in a square barrel that holds 0.17 oz of product and has a flocked sponge applicator for application. I’ve seen prices range from around $8 bucks to $10 depending where you buy it. I honestly never tried it and I always thought it was a method best suited to darker skin tones but I’ve even skin fairer skinned girls and guys doing it. I’m still scared to try it Now, color correcting is kind of a drugstore thing at the moment. Last year, we saw a variety of different higher and mid-range brands taking on color correcting full force. Well, it’s hit the drugstore world and brands like Hard Candy and now Maybelline are at it. Apparently, Tarte already had a fragrance?! I honestly do not remember that and after much searching the web I was unable to discover a photo or even a blurb about it anywhere. I would have loved to seen what the original perfume looked like. Mid-range brands releasing fragrance is apparently a thing now.
