Sugarpill Cosmetics Valentine’s Day Collection is Too Cute! This adorable, limited edition set includes a cute eyeshadow palette that includes 1 matte and 3 foiled, luminous shades in pink and red hues plus a full-size [Liquid Lipstick] in Strange Love that’s a deep metallic, sparkly oxblood red! As soon as I saw the palette’s artwork I instantly thought of those adorable Valentine’s Day cards I gave out as a child! It’s just too cute. The unique thing about the palette is the fact that Sugarpill isn’t shy about color. The red looks outstanding in this palette and I’m very, very eager to see it in person. Colors include: - S.W.A.K (foiled rose petal pink with gold duo-chrome) - Wink (foiled soft baby pink champagne) - Text Me (warm matte brown) - Kiss Kiss (foiled red) The set is $48 and... [Read More] [How to Find Some Inner Peace and Beauty Amidst Chaos] Isabella Muse, 01 Feb 02:07 PM We all live busy lives whether that life includes kids and staying at home with them or a full-time job that you’re communicating to daily or going to school and getting your course work done. Everyone has a life, a story, and tasks that they do daily to get through their day. It can be beautiful chaos at times where as other days it can be incredibly difficult. I am, ever, always an optimist. Even during some of the worst times, I always tell myself that this, too, shall come to pass. Because we can’t have the good times without the bad. Life would be boring if it was always good, all the time. Hell, we’d be here sitting around ranting because nothing bad ever happened if it was sunshine, rainbows, and unicorns daily. Sometimes the bad times add a little spice! And most days, if you’re lucky, you can look back on the bad times and laugh about how worried or horrible you felt at that point in your life and how silly you were for letting it get you down. Lately, chaos is the order of... [Read More] [What Can You Get at Sephora for Under $10 Bucks?] Isabella Muse, 01 Feb 12:51 PM The Holidays are over, tax season is on the way, and your pockets might be a little empty. No problem, we can still do beauty and makeup on a budget! Say a $10 one? What Can You Get at Sephora for Under $10 Bucks? Apparently quite a few fun things. Here are some picks that won’t make your wallet scream! [Sephora Lip Mask] $3 Chap lips, dry ones? Need a little moisture? Apply this sheet mask to your lips for 15 minutes to sooth, soften, and hydrate dry lips! [Origins Single Use Masks] $4 Origins has a slew of different one time use masks that address a host of issues from blemishes to hydration problems. This is a great way to try their mask line without committing to a more expensive full size! Plus if you’re currently embracing the multi-mask trend you... [Read More] [This or That Beauty: Cushion Foundation or Regular Foundation?] Isabella Muse, 01 Feb 11:54 AM Are you a cushion foundation fan? Or do you just like regular liquid or cream foundation? This or that, cushion or traditional foundation? What’s your fav? If I had to choose, I’d go with cushion foundation. It isn’t really as crazy here in the US as it is in Korea as a lot of people aren’t convinced that cushion makeup is all that great but it’s an Asian trend I’ve fully embraced. I tend to like sheerer, brightening foundation formulas and cushion give them my skin but better look I’m looking for where as liquids or creams tend to be a bit more pigmented and heavier. I will say I do like fluids which is probably why I like cushions as many of them have a light, fluid texture! I’ve been trying to find a dupe for [Sephora’s Wonderful Cushion] because that had a delightful light, fluid texture with a sheer, brightening formula that made my drier, dull skin look lively and fresh... [Read More] [NYX Stripped Off Micellar Cleansing Water Review] Isabella Muse, 01 Feb 11:39 AM [NYX Stripped Off Micellar Cleansing Water] ($7) is one of several [new permanent skincare products that NYX] launched for [Spring 2017]. This is NYX Cosmetics first venture in the world of micellar water and it’s a good trip or them so far considering a large 13.5 oz bottle is a mere $7 (cheaper considering [Ulta.com] has a BOGO offer on all NYX at the moment). [Garnier Micellar Water] is the same size and priced at $9.99 so, as you can NYX is definitely in direct competition with them as the budget friendlier option. NYX Stripped Off Micellar Cleansing Water comes housed in a square squeeze... [Read More] [Herbivore Moon Fruit Superfruit Night Treatment Review] Isabella Muse, 01 Feb 10:18 AM [Herbivore Moon Fruit Superfruit Night Treatment] ($58) is an intriguing facial night treatment that contains hyaluronic acid, fruit enzymes, and a blend of butters that act to resurface, smooth, and hydrate skin overnight. Sounds interesting right? That’s exactly why I purchased it. I’ve run through quite a few Herbivore products and what I’ve tried, I generally liked. So, when Moon Fruit Superfruit Night Treatment launched a few months ago I instantly grabbed a pot with hesitation. I have drier, duller skin and this formula promised to not only hydrate it with awesome ingredients like shea butter and hyaluronic acid but it also promised to gently exfoliate it as I slept. There’s something terribly appealing about multitasking products like this. I loved the idea that it would act as a...
