[Read More] [Do You Wear Makeup When You’re Sick?] Isabella Muse, 09 Jan 01:49 PM Do you wear makeup when you’re sick? I was actually worried about getting sick this weekend because I’m in Seattle this week and between travel, small confined spaces, and the brutal cold I was positive I’d get ill. Ironically turns out Seattle is a little warmer than New York (not by much!) and I ended up getting a cold before I left home (I started sneezing on Saturday and it just went from there). Yuk! I hate being sick. And wearing makeup when I sick? Hate it but… I do wear makeup when I’m sick even though I don’t want to. Typically down the sides of my nose are super flaky and even scaly when I’m sick because I’m glowing my nose constantly and the area gets raw after a while. I already have dry skin but being sick seems to make it even worst. Not to mention I get brutally chapped lips when I’m ill. This all makes for messy makeup application. If it was up to me I’d throw my comforter over my head and sleep until I feel better. But in reality, that’s not possible. Too much... [Read More] [Bath & Body Works You Make It Hard To Quit You] Isabella Muse, 09 Jan 01:08 PM Just when I think I’m done with Bath & Body Works they introduce scents like Sweet Tropical Vanilla to draw me back in. Damn you, Bath & Body Works! Insert mental image of me shaking my fist dramatically here. For one thing, Bath & Body Works Fragrance Mists just never last on me and secondly, the worst offense of all in my opinion, many of the scents aren’t unique enough to really warrant a purchase. Let’s face it, they are begin smelling the same after a while. Not to say Bath & Body Works doesn’t surprise us sometimes because look at how great [Beach Nights] was right? I have high hopes Bath & Body Works Sweet Tropical Vanilla will be just as wonderful! I hear vanilla and I go crazy. This one sounds quite lovely but I don’t trust Bath & Body Works at times as the way they envision tropical vanilla probably isn’t the same way I do. I’m thinking creamy, warm vanilla poured over coconuts, passion... The rooster is the 10th sign in the Chinese zodiac and if you were born in 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, or 2017 you are one. With each Chinese New Year, Armani, without fail, has introduced a Glow Face Powder Compact. I’ve always though this is such a lovely way to celebrate Lunar Year plus Armani’s bright red packaging is very fitting. The silky powder inside is a sheer, satiny nude with a an illuminating finish that can be used all over to set makeup and add a sheer glow. The powder is embossed with a rooster. It’s available now for a limited time at [Nordstrom.com.] You may also enjoy... Anyone remember Lorac’s very fun [Cheek Stamp Blush] circa 2009? What’s old is new again with these limited edition [Clarins Skin Illusion Blush] shades! Take a peek! So, I loved the Lorac Cheek Stamp Blushes (I probably still have them! Not that I’d use them now but I do so love hoarding away my old makeup)! These basically have a dense circular sponge with blush that fits the bottom well of the packaging. The sponge saturates with color and you can smile and dab them on your cheeks! Clarin...
