[Good Reminders for Giving Guns as Father's Day Gifts]( [Share on Facebook]( on Twitter]( on Linkedin]( this article to a friend]( View Outdoors
Father's Day is just around the corner. As hunters, shooters, collectors or just plain plinkers, it's a natural instinct to want to share our enjoyment of firearms with others. What better way to do that than to make a gift of a firearm to a dad or granddad? The first thing to remember if you're thinking about giving someone a gun is that ... it's a gun! You already know that ownership of a firearm brings with it some serious legal and ethical obligations that other consumer products don't. [READ MORE](

[Revolver vs. Semiautomatic Pistol: A Ballistic Oddity]( [Share on Facebook]( on Twitter]( on Linkedin]( this article to a friend]( Times
At the Dallas Crime Lab, we were constantly testing new ammunition for law enforcement. We occasionally wandered into queries of how specific firearm types affected terminal performance. One of these was a classic revolver versus a semiauto showdown. Sturm, Ruger & Co. and Smith & Wesson both introduced 9mm Luger revolvers in the 1980s. [READ MORE](

There have been some handguns over time that have been considered legendary by their design, the Colt Single Action Army, the 1911 Government Model, the Glock, and then there are those that have come and gone without much notice even though they were innovative and ahead of their time. One such gun was the Smith & Wesson New Departure Safety Hammerless revolver. [READ MORE](

[Browning's Combloc Connection]( [Share on Facebook]( on Twitter]( on Linkedin]( this article to a friend]( Magazine
Unless you’re hopelessly enamored of Germany's P38, any list of WW2 service pistols would have Browning’' 1911A1 and Hi-Power as top contenders for "The Best." But two lesser lights were heavily influenced by the great John M. And both saw service during the war and after, although behind the Iron Curtain. These were the 9mm Polish 35 Vis (better known as the Radom) and the ubiquitous 7.62x25 Soviet TT-33. [READ MORE](
[The Still Sought After Beretta Model 1934 Pistol]( [Share on Facebook]( on Twitter]( on Linkedin]( this article to a friend]( Digest
The Model 1934 is one of the best-known Beretta pistols. During World War II, it was the main service pistol of the Italian armed forces and was also used by some military units in Germany, Romania and Finland. After the war, the M1934 continued to serve Italy's military into the 1960s, and with the Italian police through the 1970s. The Model 1934 was chambered for the 9mm Corto, which we know as the .380 ACP. [READ MORE](

[The Model 70 Story: The Early Years]( [Share on Facebook]( on Twitter]( on Linkedin]( this article to a friend]( Rifleman
In 1935, the first Model 70 rifles began to emerge from the Winchester workrooms. Nineteen guns were produced in that year, though they did not leave the factory. In 1936, the first production guns (reaching Serial No. 2,238) were warehoused, and the Model 54 was, to all intents and purposes, a thing of the past, though it formed the basis for the new rifle. In 1937, deliveries were made to the trade. [READ MORE](

[Fine SMITH & WESSON Safety Hammerless C&R Revolver]( [Share on Facebook]( on Twitter]( on Linkedin]( this article to a friend]( International
GI# 101233832
Description: Fine SMITH & WESSON Safety Hammerless C&R Revolver 5-Shot “LEMON SQUEEZER” Top Break Revolver
Here we present a Smith & Wesson .32 Double Action Hammerless Revolver, made circa 1902-09 in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless models were produced from 1887 (1888 for the 32) to just before World War II. They were chambered in either .32 S&W or .38 S&W with a five-shot cylinder. They were most often produced with a 2-inch, 3-inch, or 3.5-inch barrel. But some 6" barreled versions are known to exist. This revolver was made to be a simple, compact and reliable firearm that one could carry in a pocket or a holster around the turn of the 20th Century. This revolver features an internal hammer design to remove risk of snagging or stopping the action. There is a grip safety built into the back of the grip frame. The frame is a top-break design that activates the automatic ejector. These are very nice features from the turn of the 20th Century! They were known as "The New Departure" to reflect the company's new approach to designing revolvers.
The overall condition is fine. The original nickel finish is 90%+. Case colors are strong on the trigger. Blue finish is about 70% on the trigger guard and barrel latch. The markings are clear. The numbers match. The S&W trademarked grips are in great shape. The bore is mostly bright with sharp rifling. The action is excellent.
This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.
Barrel is 3 inches.
Caliber: .32 S&W

[WW2 Early Nazi 3 Lever Radom Waffen Eagle 189 Proof WWII]( [Share on Facebook]( on Twitter]( on Linkedin]( this article to a friend]( International
GI# 101119243
Description: This is an original early nazi production Radom P.35 pistol. The pistol is in good condition, we rate at about 90% original finish in tact. Most of the wear is on the front and back straps. The back strap in particular is missing most of the finish. The right side of the frame has some odd-looking discoloration around the grip - looks like some sort of oil or chemical stain perhaps, but isn't a glaring flaw or even that noticeable. There is also some standard muzzle wear on the slide. The bore is excellent with strong rifling. The magazine has wear on the base, but is properly waffen eagle 189 proof stamped. Guaranteed original and authentic.
