Shares of the oncology-focused biopharmaceutical company jumped this morning after it was announced that they have been acquired by Korean chemical company, LG Chem, for $15 a share. With a closing price of $10.48 yesterday that buyout pricing is a 50% increase over the current price. The combined company has the potential to dominate the global oncology market with a full suite of innovative products to support patients, from discovery to clinical treatment. Ra Medical Systems (NYSE: RMED) Ra Medical Systems is up 45.87% premarket. The medical device company has completed its at-the-market sale of 1,072,246 shares of common stock at an average price of $7.09 per share, raising gross proceeds of $7.6 million. The funds raised by the effort will go towards a proposed merger with Catheter Precision, another US-based medical device company focused on innovations in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
