Tech Stocks Slide Following Snap Warning [Trade of the Day Wake-Up Watchlist] A deal could be reached in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on Insulet going forward. Good morning Wake-Up Watchlisters! While you’re sipping that first honey-infused herbal tea you’ll see stocks declined Tuesday after a profit warning from Snap (NYSE: SNAP) sent technology shares spiraling and spiked concerns of slower economic growth. Here’s a look at the top-moving stocks this morning. Insulet (Nasdaq: PODD) Insulet Corporation is up 11.05% premarket after reports Dexcom Inc. is in talks to acquire the medical device company. A potential deal would create a giant in diabetes devices, according to people with knowledge on the matter. A deal could be reached in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on Insulet going forward. Zoom Video Communications (Nasdaq: ZM) Zoom Video Communications is up 6.35% premarket after a strong earnings beat. The company had better numbers than most expected, posting almost 200,000 enterprise customers in the first quarter. The company had an adjusted EPS of $1.03, surpassing the estimate of $0.86. Zoom is looking strong right now. Pinterest (NYSE: PINS) Pinterest is down 12.79% premarket after Snap, another social media company, plunged 30% on Monday. Snap’s plunge came after CEO Evan Spiegel warned to employees that the company will miss its own targets for revenue and adjusted earnings in the current quarter. Twitter also fell almost 4% on the news. Pinterest is looking volatile going forward. Meta Platforms (NYSE: FB) Meta Platforms is down 7.81% premarket after the attorney general for Washington D.C. filed a lawsuit against Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Monday, accusing him of causing the massive Cambridge Analytica data breach. According to University of Pittsburgh School of Law professor, Peter Oh, it’s unclear how strong the case against Zuckerberg may be. Meta’s stock is looking uncertain right now.
