Tesla surges in premarket trading after CEO vows to offer low-cost cars by 2025 [Trade of the Day Wake-Up Watchlist] Good Morning Wake-Up Watchlisters! While you’re sipping coffee you’ll see stock futures on the tech-heavy Nasdaq popped Wednesday. The boost came after big earnings from Tesla and Vertiv Holdings (more on that below). Now the spotlight shifts to Meta, which is due to report earnings today. Microsoft and Alphabet are also due to report tomorrow. With so many opportunities during earnings week, we’ve been trading like gangbusters in [The War Room](. Yesterday our Head Trading Tactician Bryan Bottarelli closed two winners, including a 20.7% overnight winner on NUE and a 12.5% overnight winner on WHR. Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA) Tesla is up 11.56% in premarket trading after CEO Elon Musk vowed to launch cheaper vehicles as soon as late this year. The automaker said it’s accelerating new models and will add them to the current manufacturing lines. They could be ready as early as 2025. The news sparked optimism among investors after falling vehicle sales led to a 9% drop in TSLA's revenue for the first 3 months of 2024. Vertiv Holdings Co. (NYSE: VRT) Vertiv Holdings is up 17.47% in premarket after reporting strong orders that sent shares sky high. It’s a positive development for other AI stocks, including NVDA and SMCI. Overall, Vertiv earnings jumped 79% to 43 cents per share, easily beating analyst views. Revenue also rose 8% to $1.64 billion, slightly topping estimates. Organic orders also jumped 60%. The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) Boeing Company is up 3.56% in premarket trading after beating its first-quarter earning estimates. It reported a per-share loss of $1.13 from sales of $16.6 billion. Wall Street expected a per-share loss of $1.73 and sales of $16.3 billion. This was a win for BA as it dealt with controversy over the production quality of its airplanes, losing more than 30% of its stock since an emergency door plug blew off during an Alaskan Air flight on Jan. 5. Yesterday our Head Trading Tactician Bryan Bottarelli got positioned on BA in [The War Room](.
