Hi {NAME} Welcome to MSP Friday Flywheel, my email to get your marketing wheel turning and make it go faster. Paul's musings: The Deadpool & CrowdStrike edition I saw Deadpool & Wolverine yesterday (it opened a day early here in the UK). Words alone cannot express how good that movie is. If you're into Marvel in any way, cancel all plans, lock your children in a cupboard and go see it. I'm going again tomorrow. What Deadpool gets right is that it gives the audience exactly what it wants. As I was thinking about this, I realised that over the last 7 days you've had an opportunity to do this with CrowdStrike. In the initial 48 hours business owners and managers wanted a fix if they were affected, and if not they wanted info. Specifically "could this happen to us?". Now we're a week on, some will have plunged their heads back into the sand. Others will still be interested in protecting their business. You and I know there's nothing you could have done to prevent it. But it's still a good opportunity to talk about business continuity and disaster recovery. That's why this week we created a bonus explanatory guide for our MSP Marketing Edge members. It's something they can put on their websites and share on social media and emails. All it's got to do is start a conversation with a business owner who's been woken up a little by the outage. The MSP can take it from there. Oh, I also wrote an email that you can send to your existing clients, using the outage as a reason to upgrade them. [This is free for all MSPs and you can access it here]( From the web: The value of bad workouts James Clear always speaks the truth. And in his newsletter this week he has an interesting paragraph about the value of bad gym workouts. I believe you can apply this to marketing your MSP every day, [whether you feel in the mood or not]( From my archive: Why your MSP’s marketing must be a system (not a series of random events) This is one of the biggest secrets to achieve [MSP marketing that works]( Talking of systems... my 3 step lead generation system is trusted by 700+ MSPs worldwide We only work with one MSP per area, so your marketing never clashes with a competitor. 30 day free trial, no contract, cancel any time. [It takes seconds to see if your area is available](. Hit reply with any questions - I reply to every email I get - and have a great weekend.
