Hi {NAME} Welcome to Friday Flywheel, my email to get your MSP's marketing wheel turning and then make it go faster and faster and faster... Paul's musings: What would you tell your 20 year old self? Recently I interviewed an MSP I've been in regular touch with since he started his business about 4 years ago. He's doing really well, and I asked him to look back and tell me three things he wished he'd done differently. At the risk of spoiling my own podcast (the interview won't be broadcast till the end of July) he said: - I wish I'd outsourced more work earlier on - I wish I'd hired staff sooner - I wish I'd only taken on the right kind of clients (rather than "anyone with a wallet") It's easy to look back a few years with hindsight and know what you'd do differently, isn't it? Here's a good question to think on then... if you could jump into a time machine and talk to your 20 year old self, what would you say? Would it be "don't start an MSP, whatever you do!!!" ? Or maybe "be more aggressive with your marketing" ? Or something else... what would it be? Hit reply and let me know… last week 9 MSPs replied to this email to chat with me. It's the real me at the other end and I reply to every email I get. From the web: How one scheduled meeting destroys your entire day I loved this brutal article sent out by Alex Hormozi this week. And completely agree about how hard it is to do BIG THINGS with your business in one hour chunks.
