The payments came from at least [20 countries](, including China, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. China was the leading spender, according to the lawmakers. The revelations are [especially damaging]( given the false accusations that [Republicans push]( about Biden. The names of [over 150 people]( tied to a Jeffrey Epstein lawsuit filed back in 2015 began to be[unsealed in batches](, breathing new life into [theories and speculation]( about the disgraced late financier. Harvard President Claudine Gay [announced]( that she is resigning, [amid controversy]( over her testimony at a congressional hearing on campus antisemitism and subsequent allegations of plagiarism. Trump [appealed]( the rulings in Colorado and Maine that found he’s ineligible for the 2024 primary ballot and later [petitioned]( the U.S. Supreme Court to take up [his appeal]( of the Colorado decision.
