Republicans are expected to hold their[third candidate forum in two weeks]( on Monday evening, and more than 10 Republicans have put their names forward in the past day ([8 out of 10 of whom]( are election-deniers). Donald Trump’s legal troubles[reached new levels of despair]( this week after Fulton County co-defendants[Sidney Powell]( and[Kenneth Cheseboro pleaded guilty]( in the Georgia election interference case. That makes [three guilty plea](s secured by District Attorney Fani Willis. On Friday, the judge presiding over Donald Trump’s [$250 million civil fraud trial]( [fined]( the former president [$5,000]( and floated the idea of jailing him for defying [a partial gag order]( requiring him to remove a post trashing the judge's law clerk on social media.
