And it doesn't take much excavating to expose how ubiquitous that same sentiment of violence and extremism permeates the country today. Adam Kinzinger, one of two Republicans who sit on the Jan. 6 committee, knows this well, as he recently shared a series of voicemails left by enraged Trump supporters threatening the congressman with hanging, execution, and, of course, being sent to hell, because he dares go against Trump. This clearly demonstrates where GOP priorities lie as we continue to learn more harrowing, bone-chilling details about the Jan. 6 attack. The recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has caused some to speculate that this may be the beginning of a movement to overturn other landmark liberal decisions like Obergefell v. Hodges. Jamal Greene is the Dwight Professor Law at Columbia Law School and author of "How Rights Went Wrong: Why Our Obsession with Rights Is Tearing America Apart." He joins [WITHpod]( to discuss what methodology Supreme Court justices use to arrive at their decisions, whether there is political motivation and just how strictly they interpret the Constitution.
