But in the case of an unconstitutional abortion ban in Texas, the majority of justices are "aiding and abetting Texas' behavior," Jessica Levinson writes. "The majority of the current Supreme Court doesn't seem particularly concerned with minor inconveniences, such as preserving the public's respect for what judges do," Levinson writes. "At least not when it stands in the way of its near-inevitable decision to erase from the Constitution the right to obtain an abortion."
