Almost a year later, it's both clear that those arguments were in bad faith and that Trump's lackeys knew as much at the time. Case in point: A series of memos from lawyer John Eastman charting a path for Trump to remain in office was embarrassingly bad legal analysis, [Steve Vladeck writes](.
