GOP leaders are hellbent on preventing true criminal justice reform

It doesn't, Graham argued, because America elected Barack Obama as president and Kamala Harris as vice president. His party agrees with him on that front. Eighty percent think that police killings are isolated incidents; 46 percent of Republican respondents in another poll thought former police officer Derek Chauvin's trial produced the “wrong verdict.” All of this doesn't exactly inspire confidence in Republicans' willingness to root out the causes of police brutality, Dean Obeidallah writes.
