While people talk hopefully of new police reform possibilities, Lavin explores the history and symbolism of the "Thin Blue Line" flag that was flown above the Brooklyn Center police station in after residents protested the killing of 20-year-old Daunte Wright, about 10 miles from where Chauvin sat in trial; and where police violence in the city reportedly intensified after George Floyd's murder.
