Russia doesn't just try to influence American public opinion during elections, FBI Director Chris Wray said Friday.
Â
"It's pretty much a [365-days-a-year threat](. And that has absolutely continued," Wray said.
Â
The FBI chief said it consists of constant use of social media, with "fake news, propaganda, false personas, et cetera, to spin us up, pit us against each other, sow divisiveness and discord, and undermine Americans' faith in democracy."
Â
In an appearance before the Council on Foreign Relations, Wray said social media companies have made enormous strides in identifying and shutting down Russia's social media efforts. "But we recognize our adversaries will keep upping their game. 2018 was just a dress rehearsal for 2020," he said.
Joe Biden laughed off President Trump's suggestion Friday that the former vice president is [too old to run for the Oval Office](.
Â
"If he looks young and vibrant compared to me, I should probably go home," Biden, 76, quipped in an appearance on ABC's "The View."
Â
"Well, I think that â I just feel like a young man," Trump said earlier Friday. "I'm so young. I can't believe it. I'm the youngest person. I am a young, vibrant man."
Â
As [Brian Williams pointed out tonight](, Trump and Biden, both in their 70s, are trading insults over age.

[HOT TAKE](: Vladimir Putin is a better match for Kim Jong Un than Donald Trump ever was. Putin, it seems, wants to play the role of global power broker with North Korea that President Trump may have lusted after but failed to claim. Kim Jong Un and Putin are more natural allies, and the U.S. is at risk of being squeezed out.
