[MRC's ] Dear {NAME}, The national conventions are over and the Media Research Center would like to provide you with a comprehensive assessment of evidenced media bias. From our News Analysis Division the big question is, was the coverage of both conventions fair? The MRC studied various aspects of footage and found some astonishing results: - By a 12-to-1 margin, journalists spent time deriding the Republican convention for its negativity, even as their reactions to Democrat speakers were consistently positive. - During the Democrat convention, CNN chose to air 18 of the Democrats’ videos, with a total prime time coverage of 62 minutes, or more than four times the 14 minutes of airtime given to Republican videos during the same time slot the prior week. - There was an evident double-standard on giving free airtime to the opposition, as well as a set of shocking examples of the media panning the GOP We need to hear from you.
