Hello, Central Park… [View in browser]( [Image](   [HOTELS]( [INSPIRATION]( [OFFERS]( New is nice, but renewal is a thing of beauty. It's a theme that runs through our recent arrivals, including the Park Lane Hotel in New York. When it opened in 1971, it was one of the city's tallest stays, offering peerless views of Central Park. By its 50th birthday it looked a little tired, but a clever costume change has catapulted it into our ranks and back onto the Upper East Side social scene. And we’ve more tales of revitalisation, including a historic hacienda in Napa Valley and a made-over masseria in rural Salento… [SEE WHAT'S NEW](   PARK LANE HOTEL, NEW YORK Icons only. That could be the motto for Park Lane New York, soaring 47 storeys over the southeast corner of Central Park. This is Manhattan at its most legendary, where cinematic skylines and park-spanning vistas are the norm. What’s less typical is this hotel's look: in 2022, design firm Yabu Pushelberg came in with bold colours, playful furnishings and whimsical murals by NYC-based artists En Viu, chasing away any Upper East Side stuffiness. [VIEW HOTEL](   [Alternate text]( GOLDWYNN RESORT & RESIDENCES, BAHAMAS A former pirate republic and home of the riotous Junkanoo, Nassau’s always had a bit of a wild streak. You won’t be seeing much of it at Goldwynn Resort, however, which is just outside town on a pristine strip of Cable Beach. Here, a sense of calm pervades the air, whether you’re bronzing by the beachfront infinity pool, sampling chef Bak’s Japanese fusion dishes at restaurant Oia, or unwinding with an Ayurvedic treatment at the spa (opening on 15 May). [VIEW HOTEL](   [Alternate text]( RANCHO CAYMUS INN, NAPA VALLEY You’d be forgiven for thinking Rancho Caymus Inn was more than a century old, so effortlessly does the Spanish-style hacienda blend into its Napa Valley surroundings. It is, in fact, a relic of the 1980s, built by Morton Salt heiress, vintner and sculptor Mary Tilden Morton. The hotel recently had a multi-million-dollar facelift but its rustic charm remains, including terracotta floors, stovepipe fireplaces and oak beams reclaimed from a 19th-century barn. [VIEW HOTEL](   SAGE LODGE, MONTANA Rugged, robust, yet refined where it matters. That’s Sage Lodge, a 1,200-acre estate in Montana’s vast and beautiful wilderness. Built around a trout-stocked pond and framed by the silhouettes of mountains, this stay is for adventure seekers who like a little pampering when the day is done (say, an open-air hot tub session or massage in the timber-clad spa). You’ll have earned it, too, hiking or riding the trails, paddling the Yellowstone river, or taking a private tour of the park itself, just 35 minutes away. [VIEW HOTEL](   [Alternate text]( MASSERIA CORSANO, SALENTO Stop your watch and silence your phone: we’re shifting to Salento time. At Masseria Corsano, deep in Italy’s boot heel, all timekeeping can be done the old way. The farmstead is angled to catch both sunrise and sunset, so you can use measurements like ‘when the shadow reaches there, we’ll have that second aperitivo’. For a broader perspective, pull up a pew in the restaurant, where you can tell the season from whether you’ve plump olives, ripe tomatoes or orchard fruit on your plate. [VIEW HOTEL](   CALI MYKONOS, GREECE Bacchanals and boum-boum beats will feel miles away when you're cosseted inside Cali Mykonos, a Cycladic sanctum on the quiet east side of the island. Its sense of calm comes via the curved 130-metre infinity pool, the private beach at the foot of the resort, and the quarry's worth of dusky marble in every room. You’re not limited to one island, however: the hotel’s fleet of boats run excursions to the surrounding islands, including Naxos, Paros and historic Delos, the birthplace of Apollo.
