Without new laws in the US where many of these companies are based, organizations like Mozilla can’t easily reach people like you and me. Because of supporters like you, Mozilla’s open letter demanding that Congress pass the American Innovation and Choice Online Act (AICOA) got into the pages of [the Washington Post]( this summer. Our letter drew positive attention to this bill, but Congress has yet to act. That’s why we have joined like-minded privacy companies [signing onto a letter]( that urges Members of Congress to vote in favor of AICOA. Our goal is to make sure the vote gets scheduled and passes.
