You’re probably not using your free time to think about the strength of your passwords. Even we aren’t - and we work at Mozilla. Knowing this, and because they’re nice, our tech gurus put together a quick checklist to help keep the team safe online. We’ll admit, it’s easy to forget that online scammers are lurking all over the internet. But a few careless missteps from us is all they need to swoop in. That’s why I’m passing on this handy checklist so that you can stay safe online. And if you’re feeling confident, let’s make it more interesting - would you bet $5 you could get 3/3? 1. First off, be honest! Do you use the same password for multiple sites? ✅ No! Of course not ❌ Yes… 2. Next: As you read this, is all your software up to date? ✅ Yep! ❌ Nope – I’ve hit snooze on a couple of notifications 3. And finally: Do you have multi-factor authentication set up on your accounts? ✅ Sure do! ❌ 😬 What’s multi-factor authentication? So, did you get 3/3? If you didn’t, will you donate $5 to the Mozilla Foundation? You’ll be helping fund vital research to build a safer internet for us all – and it only takes 2 minutes: [Yes, I’ll donate $5]( [I’ll donate another amount](~4AmfA/OSs4dTMvUkszME5GZ2tDanZQRzFTNDlMRjZSZFhYVWdGODcrVm1hbHNqQ2ZVaFEvakcwSkZxUUZFOWdnRVNsVkJacFl3ZmxheEFJTUFqbHljcWNWWlJNdU80a2N4TytxTGFiQ3NQckFlclU9S0/) Don’t feel too bad if you fell at the first hurdle. According to Google, over half of us have re-used a password for different sites. That’s why our work to raise the alarm on scammers is so important – so that everyone feels safe and secure online. As a supporter of Mozilla, you’re helping build an internet that works for everyone. Thanks for being with us. Now, I’m off to update my passwords! Juan Fundraising Lead, Mozilla PS. If you managed to get all three right, well done! But the internet’s a pretty big place, and we could always use your help to clean it up for good.
