Here at Mozilla, we do things a bit differently ... but we need your support. Dear Mozilla Supporter

Here at Mozilla, we do things a bit differently ... but we need your support. [ * * * Mozilla * * * ] As a non-profit organization, Mozilla is uniquely able to fight for your online privacy and a healthier internet. Today, we ask for your support to help carry this mission forward. [Yes, I'll chip in](QpWD_Tr/SnJEc2d4eEJKUHJZbFNHR3lWQjRQamQwdlB5T1ErOGJ1ajlvaitDM3ZoWTBSWnhPSjlPQTF2dmdnbW5qdkQyUzdRZS9sTldsZ0VZeFc1OUZJRVFYeEY0OGJzR1lRd3BsbUplSk4rdUl5WlE9S0/) Dear Mozilla Supporter, Normal? Have you been asking yourself what that even means these days? I sure have. Spoiler alert: I don’t think anyone quite knows what normal is going to look like in the coming months. One thing I do know, the new normal means the growth of technology in our lives isn’t going away. So much moved online during the pandemic — work, school, seeing the doctor, interviewing for a job, hanging out with friends, even dating. All of that is likely here to stay. Which is why a recent survey[1] showing that people’s trust in the tech industry has recently cratered to an all time low ... has me concerned. People around the world are increasingly worried about the spread of misinformation online (so are we!), they are scared about their loss of privacy in the data economy (OMG, us too!), and growing bias in artificial intelligence has them concerned (yup, that keeps us up at night as well). There IS a silver lining, though. This survey shows people around the world are starting to understand the important tech issues we here at Mozilla work on daily. More and more people are learning they need to get involved to make a difference. This is very good. Because we can’t do this work without people — people like you. We do this work for you, and because of you. We’re only able do it because people like you support us with your donations. Please help us with a donation today if you can. [Yes, I'll donate]( Mozilla is unique. It’s our job as a non-profit organization to uphold a standard for good tech, and demonstrate what that looks like. Our *Privacy Not Included buyer’s guides help consumers shop safe for connected products while holding companies accountable. Our newly launched Data Futures Lab will help determine how to build a better alternative to the current data economy eating away at our privacy. And we’ve dedicated our work here at the Mozilla Foundation to find ways to combat bias and discrimination in artificial intelligence around the world.
