Dear MoveOn member, My name is Kelly Sawyers, and I lead MoveOn's online fundraising and merchandise teams. When you get an email from us asking if you want to order a free sticker (like this one!), my team and I are behind it, designing the stickers, getting them printed, and making sure they make it to you. I'm also a resident of North Carolina, and on Tuesday night my MAGA-controlled state legislature voted to strip away my right to control my own body, along with those of millions of other North Carolinians and Southerners who relied on my state to access abortion care.1 North Carolina is the nineteenth state to institute an abortion ban in the 11 months since Roe v. Wade was overturned—even though the overwhelming majority of Americans believe that abortion should remain safe, legal, and available.2 MoveOn has been working around the clock to fight against these bans, elect leaders who will protect our rights, and build the power we will need to sweep out forced-birth extremists in the 2024 elections, and I'm writing today with an opportunity for you to make an impact. MoveOn's stickers are mini-billboards, each seen by hundreds or thousands of people, and they serve as a powerful organizing tool to energize voters and show the GOP what kind of grassroots power they are up against. In response to this latest abortion ban, we've reprinted a big batch of our "Bans Off Our Bodies" stickers and are giving them away for free, while supplies last. [Click here or on the image below to get yours now, and join the campaign to restore our bodily autonomy.]( {NAME}, I know stickers might not seem that powerful at first, but think about it: When you pull up behind a car at a red light, sit across from someone working on their laptop at a cafe, walk past a storefront, or press the button at a crosswalk, your eyes are drawn to the stickers that you see. You read their messages. And so does everyone else who sees them. The ripple effect of just that small act is massive—and critically important in the right to restore abortion access across the country. We know that voters are motivated by attacks on abortion, just as we saw during last year's midterms when voters turned out in deep-red Kansas, Kentucky, and Montana to defeat ballot measures that would have restricted abortion access.3We must remind voters what is at stake and who is behind these bans, to build the drumbeat necessary to kick the forced-birth extremists behind these laws out of office in every single election that we can. And that is exactly what our "Bans Off Our Bodies" stickers will do. [This fight could not be more important. Can you do your part by ordering your free sticker now, displaying it somewhere visible, and sharing this message with your family and friends?]( Thanks for all you do. –Kelly Sources: 1. But there is more work to do to end the filibuster, codify abortion rights into law, and defend our freedoms, our families, and our futures. We can accomplish all this and more, but only if we work together. Will you chip in right now to power our critical work?
