He has deep ties to the conservative Federalist Society and has pursued a right-wing agenda since he was appointed, undermining the Biden administration on issue after issue. His professional history reflects his crusades against health care, autonomy, LGBTQ+ equality, and many more human rights and freedoms.2 Now, there's more: The Washington Post has just reported that Kacsmaryk removed his name from an article he had written before he came up for his Senate confirmation, potentially attempting to conceal his anti-abortion and anti-LGBTQ+ track record in order to be confirmed to the federal bench.3 This judge has shown he is set on abusing his power in service of his personal political agenda. Judges who serve on federal courts must be committed to respecting the law, the Constitution, and core American values of justice, fairness, and inclusivity.
