This latest bombshell comes on the heels of other documents in the same lawsuit against Fox document

This latest bombshell comes on the heels of other documents in the same lawsuit against Fox documenting Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, and other top Fox hosts and executives privately in text messages and emails calling the Trump team's claims of voting irregularities "mind blowingly nuts," "insane," "shockingly reckless," and "dangerous as hell." Dear fellow MoveOn member, We need to talk about Fox News. In a stunning development, we now know that Rupert Murdoch, chairman of the media empire that owns Fox News, admitted under oath that Fox hosts "endorsed" Donald Trump's Big Lie on air despite knowing full well that the claims were false.1 This latest bombshell comes on the heels of other documents in the same lawsuit against Fox documenting Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, and other top Fox hosts and executives privately in text messages and emails calling the Trump team's claims of voting irregularities "mind blowingly nuts," "insane," "shockingly reckless," and "dangerous as hell."2 Of course, those same hosts then became a megaphone for the Big Lie—spreading the Big Lie to millions of viewers—all in pursuit of ratings and revenue. {NAME}, we cannot underestimate how destructive Fox News is to our country. President Joe Biden has called Murdoch "the most dangerous man in the world."3 And he's right. That's why I'm writing to you today with a personal request: My friends at MoveOn are launching a huge ad campaign to expose Fox News for its lies, fraud, and deceit. They produced a hard-hitting ad, and they need our help to get it to those who need to see it the most: Fox viewers, advertisers, and cable providers. Can you chip in $3 now to help get MoveOn's ad in front of millions of Fox News viewers, expose Fox News, and push advertisers and cable providers to drop the network? [Yes, I'll chip in.]( MoveOn tried to run its hard-hitting ad during primetime on Fox News—going right to the belly of the beast—but Fox is so scared of the truth that they rejected the ad.4 Fox is also censoring its hosts and contributors from talking about the lawsuit and bombshell court documents on air.5 Politico described Fox executives as being "assiduous" in keeping their audience in the dark about the blockbuster lawsuit—rejecting the MoveOn ad and censoring its broadcasts.6 That's where we come in, {NAME}, you and I. After Fox rejected MoveOn's TV ad, MoveOn decided to use digital platforms to reach Fox News viewers. They also want to microtarget their ad to executives at the cable providers that carry Fox News and those who work for companies that still purchase advertisements on the network. The more attention they can bring to Fox's deceptions, the more likely that advertisers drop Fox and cable providers allow users to opt out of receiving the channel. [I've seen the damage that Fox News has done to our country for decades, and I truly believe that this is a one-off opportunity to take them down. Will you join me and chip in $3?]( Together, we can hold Fox News, Tucker Carlson, and their other propagandists responsible for the work they have done to destroy our country and for the white supremacy, misogyny, homophobia, and hate that is core to their business model. This is a fight for our democracy. This is a fight for our future. And it is a fight we can, and must, win. [Join us.]( –Robert Reich Sources: 1.
