Are you ready to end Republican control of the House of Representatives? Dear MoveOn member, Â Are

Are you ready to end Republican control of the House of Representatives? Dear MoveOn member,  Are you ready to end Republican control the House of Representatives?  In the House right now, there are 18 Republicans representing swing districts that President Biden won in 2020. While they got elected by masquerading as moderates, they vote in lockstep with a hard-right MAGA agenda. Together, we can expose and unseat them in 2024 on our road to take back the House.  They are the Complicit Caucus—voting to attack abortion access, undermine Social Security and Medicare, and serve the interests of corporate lobbyists and the gun industry, while representing swing districts with strong Democratic bases, plenty of MoveOn members, and constituents who will hold them accountable.  MoveOn members are already taking action to put these representatives on the spot and build momentum to defeat them. Across these districts, MoveOn members showed up at the local offices of the representatives last week, during the congressional recess, to deliver a message: "Say no to MAGA cuts and protect Social Security, Medicare, and other essential federal programs."  Here are a few images of MoveOn members organizing across these key 18 Complicit Caucus districts:   They delivered petitions signed by tens of thousands of MoveOn members. They drew the attention of local media. In several places, they met the offices' chiefs of staff and district directors. In one location, the Republican's office closed up shop early ... seemingly to avoid meeting angry constituents.  And in the district of the highest-profile member of the Complicit Caucus—New York's 3rd District, represented by George Santos—they joined with partners to form a "Drive Santos Out" constituent caravan that made its way through the district and received TV, radio, and newspaper coverage across the region.   The other 17 Complicit Caucus members don't have Santos's infamy—which is why our efforts are so critical. Whether it's "MAGA Mike" Lawler in New York's 17th District or California's John Duarte, who eked out a win on the narrowest of margins of a few hundred votes, it's imperative we expose them for their dangerous role in enabling and empowering the MAGA caucus.  By exposing them for the MAGA enablers and frauds they are, we'll pave the way to defeat them in 2024.  Here are the 18 members of the Complicit Caucus—all of whom represent swing districts where there are MoveOn members ready to take action, expose them as frauds, and defeat them.   These recess actions are just the beginning. We are planning sustained efforts across these 18 districts to create pressure on the Complicit Caucus, build up the local power of MoveOn members, and create the runway to defeat these Republicans in 2024.  Here's some of what we'll do: - Build grassroots power in these districts. In key districts, MoveOn will provide ongoing training, support, strategic guidance, and resources to constituents who will take action on a regular basis to pressure and organize against Complicit Caucus members. - Get top-notch, sharply focused opposition research. We'll be conducting hard-hitting research to understand the issues that are popular in these districts—from protecting Social Security to confronting gun violence to restoring abortion rights to lowering the price of insulin—and exposing how these Complicit Caucus members go against the needs of their constituents, while actually voting in lockstep with MAGA Republicans. - Produce and promote hard-hitting ads. As the Complicit Caucus members cast their votes alongside the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene, serving the MAGA agenda and their corporate backers, we'll run targeted ads in their districts to call them out, expose their hypocrisy, and weaken them before the 2024 election. - Come back—recess after recess. When the Complicit Caucus members come home, we'll be there to meet them—with more actions, protests, letters to the editor, ads, and creative tactics to keep up the pressure. - And more. We will leverage important moments and create attention-grabbing events to gain news coverage and go viral on social media to help expose the Complicit Caucus. [This is the hard, detailed, grassroots work that will lead to these politicians' defeat. Can you help make sure we have the resources to keep it running at full capacity all the way through Election Day in 2024 by chipping in $3 now?](  Thank you to the MoveOn members who showed up in rain, wind, and even sleet last week to deliver a critical message about saying no to MAGA cuts and protecting Social Security—and an equally important message to the Complicit Caucus that we'll expose them ... and then we'll unseat them. Thanks for all you do. –Justin, Alexis, Amanda, Mia, and the rest of the team Want to support MoveOn's work? Voters just defied history and stopped a MAGA wave of extremism at the polls. But there is more work to do to end the filibuster, codify abortion rights into law, and defend our freedoms, our families, and our futures. We can accomplish all this and more, but only if we work together.  Will you chip in right now to power our critical work? [Click here to chip in $3, or whatever you can afford.]( --------------------------------------------------------------- PAID FOR BY MOVEON POLITICAL ACTION, .
