In 10 days, the midterm elections will determine control of the Senate and the House of Representatives. Whoever is in charge will determine all this: - Whether Congress tries to protect abortion rights in law. (Hint: Stronger Democratic majorities have committed to this; MAGA Republicans will vote for a national abortion ban.) - Whether anyone will be held responsible for the deadly January 6 insurrection. (Hint: Democrats will continue the blockbuster investigations; some MAGA Republicans were part of the insurrection ... so not so much.) - Whether Congress is trying to help regular folks get by. (Hint: Democrats just taxed big corporations more and made hearing aids affordable and want to cap prices on insulin; Republicans want to ban kids' books to distract us from their giveaways to oil companies.) [That's why I'm fired up to join MoveOn members this week to call voters in key states to make their plan to vote.
