RSVP: Election phone bank next week!

If you do one thing to help defeat MAGA candidates this election, do this! Dear {NAME}, You probably already know that hundreds of MAGA Republicans (who are still denying the outcomes of the 2020 election) are on the ballot across the country this November. But did you know that we can all help defeat the candidates who pose the greatest threat to advancing democracy, and do it right from home, regardless of what state we live in?  MoveOn's election mobilization program is fueled by volunteer members from across the country. It's designed to be super easy to plug into, with multiple phone banks every week.  [RSVP now for a phone bank to call voters in must-win states, such as Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania.](  The pervasiveness of the MAGA Republicans' claims is a big problem—election deniers have gotten GOP nominations in 42 states.1  But not all election deniers are an equal threat. Because some of them are running for roles that control future elections in their states. That's right, conspiracy theorists who are campaigning on the claim that they would not have certified the results of our last election want to be in charge of certifying the next one. And it's not just election day—some of them want to make it harder for everyone to vote, with awful proposals such as ending widespread vote-by-mail and even forcing every single voter off the rolls and forcing them to re-register.2,3 It's wild.  But by focusing our attention on turning out voters who turned out in 2020 or who have registered since, we can help keep these MAGA Trump lackeys out of office.  [That's why we're asking every MoveOn member, everywhere, to pitch in and sign up for at least one phone bank as soon as possible to help turn out voters in key states.
