It will take all of us to win the midterms and protect our democracy. Dear MoveOn member, It seems like just yesterday we were on the edge of our seats, awaiting the results of the 2020 general election. The fate of the White House and both chambers of Congress were at stake. And we won! We won BIG! Since then, Donald Trump and his MAGA lackeys have doubled down on the Big Lie and are running a sophisticated plot to install their cronies as the election officials who oversee voter registration, vote counting, and have the power to certify—or decertify—election results in key battleground states. {NAME}, we have only about 70 days to stop them. But we stopped Trump in 2020, and we can stop him and the MAGA movement again in 2022—if we come together, starting right now. It’s going to take each and every one of us doing all we can. [That’s why every Tuesday and Thursday from now until Election Day, MoveOn members from across the country are gathering together remotely and taking action by phonebanking to add momentum to our grassroots-led get-out-the-vote campaign. Will you join us? Click here now to register.]( To make sure we win this November, MoveOn has launched the largest relational voter contact campaign in the country. This means we'll turn out voters by asking the people closest to them—their friends, colleagues, and loved ones—to remind them to vote, which research shows is by far the most effective way to get voters to the polls—up to five times more effective than direct voter outreach. This is the approach we innovated and used to help defeat Trump in 2020, and we’ve spent the last two years building and fine-tuning it. This year, we’re laser-focused on turning out people who voted for the first time in 2018 or 2020 but who may not vote this year. These “surge” voters are likely to be the margin of victory Democrats need to win. But it will take all of us, working together, to meaningfully reach these voters and turn them out on Election Day. [Join us to be a part of the community of MoveOn members working together to safeguard our democracy and elect candidates who will fight to build an America for all.]( It’s going to take a movement of people like you and me, working alongside one another, to make it happen. Thanks for all you do. –Durrel, Amanda, Emily, Gabi, and the rest of the team  Want to support MoveOn's work? Donald Trump's preparations for being able to steal the presidency in 2024 are well underway and include working to replace top election officials in battleground states with his own loyalists. Which is why MoveOn is doing something we've never done in our 23-year history: We're launching a powerful, multimillion-dollar effort to defeat Trump-backed secretaries of state across the country and elect individuals who will count every vote and ensure fair elections. [Yes, I'll chip in $5 a month.]( [No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.]( --------------------------------------------------------------- PAID FOR BY MOVEON.ORG POLITICAL ACTION, .
