These pins were so popular that we ran out of stock, but we're bringing them back by popular demand!

These pins were so popular that we ran out of stock, but we're bringing them back by popular demand! Dear MoveOn member, Time is running out to stop the Republican attacks on free and fair elections. Last week, Senate Republicans used the filibuster to block sweeping and urgently needed legislation to protect and expand voting rights.1 Now, the ball is in the Democrats' court. All 50 Senate Democrats support the bill, the Freedom to Vote Act.2 They can band together, scrap the filibuster—an arcane Senate rule with a long racist history—and pass the bill.3 It could become law within a matter of days, blocking the avalanche of new GOP-written voter suppression laws in the states and taking the most significant step forward on voting rights in a generation. Or Democrats can decide that a racist Senate rule is more important than American democracy. We have one simple message: Let the people vote. This message needs to be everywhere right now. Everywhere! [That's why we teamed up with a union printer to produce these new, limited-edition "Let the People Vote" pins. These pins were so popular that we ran out of stock, but we're bringing them back by popular demand! If you make a $10 donation to MoveOn right now, we'll send you one.]( So far this year, in the biggest rollback of voting rights since Jim Crow, 19 states have enacted 33 laws that will make it harder for people of color and young people to vote.4 It's a wholly unprecedented effort by Republicans to undermine the election process while promoting the Big Lie of a stolen election and continuing to defend the violent insurrectionists and attempted coup. And they are getting away with it. {NAME}, the very future of our democracy hangs in the balance. That's why people everywhere need to help spread the message: "Let the people vote." [You can help out by pre-ordering one of our limited-edition pins and proudly wearing it on your coat, backpack, or wherever other people will see it. Help spread the word by pre-ordering your limited-edition "Let the People Vote" pin now.]( Thanks for all you do. –Kelly, Elizabeth, Dan, Michael, and the rest of the team Sources: 1.
