Our strategy is working: When corporate Democrats tried holding a vote to pass a bill that failed to include the bold and transformational investments our country needs, progressive champions in Congress blocked the bill from coming up for a vote. As a result, congressional leaders are back to negotiating, giving us a chance to get this done. Dear MoveOn member, Democrats are on the verge of passing the largest-ever investment in our country's families and workers—including paid family leave, child care, and tuition-free community college, as well as essential initiatives to combat the climate crisis—but a handful of corporate Democrats are blocking a final deal. We simply can't back down now and cave to the corporate wing of the Democratic Party. That's why MoveOn has been firing on all cylinders, joining with partners to organize a dayslong "Hold the Line" rally outside the Capitol that has gotten national press coverage, grabbed the attention of political leaders, and helped stiffen the spines of progressives in Congress. We need to keep up the pressure—and turn up the heat even more. We're entering the most crucial moments of the negotiations to pass the most important bill of the Biden presidency, and we need your help. [Will you chip in $3 to help power our Hold the Line rallies outside the Capitol and to pressure corporate Democrats like Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin to pass the Build Back Better Agenda?]( {NAME}, alongside the dayslong Hold the Line rallies outside the Capitol, we've launched other big actions to pressure Congress to finalize a bold deal. Last week, more than 2,000 MoveOn members flooded the offices of Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, and corporate House Democrats with calls demanding that they get on board with President Biden's Build Back Better Agenda, while also calling progressive members of Congress to fortify them in their resolve to hold the line. We're also producing a series of hard-hitting videos ratcheting up support for the important provisions in the Build Back Better Agenda, including citizenship for Dreamers and essential workers, taxing the ultra-wealthy, combating the climate crisis, and more. But that's not all. We also worked with allies to launch a bird-dogging campaign, where we track down and ask corporate Democrats in Congress whether they side with corporations or the people. And the interaction is all caught on camera for their constituents to see. It's this kind of hard-hitting, shoe leather campaigning and organizing that is going to ensure we pass the critical Build Back Better Agenda. This legislation is important for everyone but especially for women, people of color, immigrants, and low-income workers. But while the corporate Democrats have wealthy executives bankrolling them, MoveOn doesn't take a dime from corporate PACs. We count on support from you, our members, to pay for staff on-the-ground at these rallies, for videos and ads, for signs and banners, and for the technology and infrastructure to support it all. [As these critical negotiations reach their most important moment, will you rush a $3 donation today to ensure we have the resources necessary to stand up to the corporate Democrats and pass the boldest legislation in decades?]( Thanks for all you do. –Mohammad, Ankur, Arvin, Sandra, and the rest of the team Want to support MoveOn's work? The GOP is launching an all-out campaign to take down the Democratic majority in Congress and reinstall Mitch McConnell as Senate majority leader in 2022. To defeat the GOP, MoveOn is going all-in with TV ads, a nationwide grassroots organizing campaign, and more. Will you chip in to power our effort to defeat McConnell and the GOP in 2022?
