RSVP for an event for Recovery Recess. Dear MoveOn member, Today is the first day of spring recess for Congress! President Biden is about to release his "Build Back Better" plan to fund infrastructure jobs that deliver climate solutions and economic justice. We need Biden and Congress to act decisively to deliver real recovery now! That's why MoveOn members, and our partners, are hosting events all over the United States for the next two weeks, from March 29 to April 11, when members of Congress are at home. [Logo for Recovery Recess]( [Check out the events page]( to see what events are going on in your area. Be a part of history by lifting up the change we need to create to see a better future. [RSVP to an event now]( Right now, there are already over 100 events—online and in person—in communities all across the country. And they look amazing. Take a look at just some of what's being planned. There will be THREE simultaneous "West Virginia Jammin' for Jobs" events across the state, and a virtual livestream connecting all three that you can watch remotely. MoveOn members in Missoula, Montana, are hosting an in-person event to demand that Congress Build Back BOLD. In Vermont, the Sierra Club is hosting a virtual town hall conversation with Rep. Peter Welch about the THRIVE agenda for jobs, climate action, and justice.  [Wherever you are, there's either a creative event hosted locally to attend (some in-person and some online) or a national livestream to join! And there's still plenty of time to add an event to the map if you host your own!]( Please remember that we are in a pandemic and that your health—and that of those around you—is very important. If you are part of an at-risk group, please do not attend an in-person event—instead, you can find a list of virtual events to join by removing in person events from your search on the map! If you do attend, please wear a mask, bring plenty of hand sanitizer, and remain at least six feet away from others. Thanks for all you do. –David, Chloe, Corinne, Durrel, and the rest of the team Want to support our work? Together, we made Donald Trump a one-term president! Now, it's time to expand access to health care, fight for citizenship for the undocumented, reform policing, and tackle the climate crisis. Will you chip in to power the fight for bold, progressive change? [Click here to chip in $3, or whatever you can afford.]( Contributions to MoveOn Civic Action are not tax-deductible for income tax purposes. This email was sent to {NAME} on March 29, 2021.
