By: Charles Bradley, Global Editor in Chief [Motorsport.com]( In a volatile world, it’s good to be able to rely on some things – like Marc Marquez winning MotoGP’s Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin over the weekend. As usual, all the pre-race talk was about the state of the track, which appeared to have ramped (yumped?) up since MotoGP was last there in 2019. I remember that weekend’s jaw-dropping big story was Marquez’s low-speed fall that cost him his incredible winning streak in the USA. The Marquez of 2021 is a more-wounded animal, of course, but on COTA’s anti-clockwise layout – despite its crazy undulations – his injuries didn’t hamper him so much. Another incredible ride, another dominant win. Just imagine what he’d be doing every weekend if he was at full fitness? Editor's Choice [Marquez knew COTA could be last chance of 2021 MotoGP win]( Marc Marquez says his dominant MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas victory was “perfect” but admits he felt pre-weekend that it could be his last chance to win in 2021.  [Read More](  [Americas MotoGP: Marquez dominates, Quartararo extends points lead](  [Read More]( [What is causing COTA’s “dangerous” surface problems for MotoGP?](  [Read More](  [Norris: F1's 2022 cars "not as nice" to drive](  [Read More]( [Former NASCAR driver John Wes Townley shot and killed](  [Read More](  MOTORSPORT JOBS [Job of the Week: Prodrive - Electrical Harness Technician](  [Learn More](  Received this email from a friend? Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
