[Forward to a friend](   Motorsport is a passion, and when emotions run high we need to keep them in check – or bad things can transpire. The scenes from the FIA World Karting event in Lonato in Italy, caught on camera and spread on social media, were shocking to say the least. It was bad enough that Luca Corberi threw part of his kart at his rival, but the post-race violence in parc ferme – that led to a multi-person brawl – were outrageous. It’s now up to the authorities to act, not only for those involved to be sanctioned, but serve as a lesson to anyone else to ensure this kind of thing never happens again. As both Felipe Massa and Jenson Button said, behavior like that is simply unacceptable – at any level of the sport. Corberi himself seems suitably ashamed of himself, and quite rightly so.    Charles Bradley, Global Editor in Chief   Motorsport.com E D I T O R ' S C H O I C E [FIA launches investigation into "unacceptable" karting incident](  Felipe Massa says those involved in the fight during a karting event at Lonato on Sunday will face "consequences" for their "unacceptable" behaviour as the FIA announced it has launched an investigation.      J O N A T H A N  N O B L E [Kart driver Corberi vows to never race again after brawl]( Italian karter Luca Corberi, who caused outrage after throwing a bumper at a rival on Sunday before starting a fight, has apologised and vowed never to race again.    L U K E  S M I T H [Sainz: Fans "can laugh as much they want" about Ferrari move]( Carlos Sainz says fans making jokes about his move to Ferrari for 2021 “can laugh as much as they want” and that he finds their ideas “pretty funny”.    J O N A T H A N  N O B L E [Haas: Not "ethical" to look to end Ferrari partnership now]( Haas boss Gunther Steiner thinks it would be unethical for his team to turn its back on Ferrari and switch engine partners just because it is having a difficult year.    A L E X  K A L I N A U C K A S [The last element of F1 performance that can't be found on a laptop]( Formula 1 might be a high-tech endeavour, but the human relationship between the driver and their race engineer is a make-or-break element of it.
