Credit where credit is due, Formula 1’s effort to pull off a 17-race 2020 schedule – expec

[Forward to a friend]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Instagram]( [YouTube]( [RSS]( Credit where credit is due, Formula 1’s effort to pull off a 17-race 2020 schedule – expected to be finalized shortly with the Turkish GP returning – is nothing short of miraculous in these crazy times. Without wishing to jinx it, as Covid-19 is bound to pop-up in hotspots, the way in which F1 has rolled with the punches and adapted its calendar – using circuits that would never normally get a look-in, such as Mugello, Imola, Algarve and Bahrain’s ‘oval’ layout – has been remarkable. And credit the FIA for giving it some leeway too. In a time of crisis, F1 has shown an ability to think outside of the box and conjure up a roster of tracks well worthy of the World Championship mantle. NASCAR set the trend, and F1 has followed, and it absolutely deserves for these races to go ahead as it plans.
